September 13, 2012 — Rachel Muha was with us tonight to share with us her very personal experience with forgiveness.  Rachel states that “forgiveness is to refuse to have any ill will towards the person who has hurt us and to choose to have good will towards that person who has hurt us.”  Rachel describes good will as “wanting and doing what is good for the person.”  In 1999, Rachel founded The Brian Muha Memorial Foundation, which includes Run the Race, a program that seeks to spread a positive influence on society by helping young people, especially inner-city youth develop virtues and attitudes that support “ever-lasting happiness” as well as academic success.
